17 additional elected officials, public servants, and other well-known members of the community remain unnamed, at their request, because they allege the incumbent candidate, Supervisor and Alderman Steve Taylor, has directly threatened their businesses and reputations. These unnamed supporters have shared in confidence that they also cannot put up signs or donate to the campaign because it would draw the attention of Supervisor Taylor, whom they fear. Instead, they will be privately encouraging others to vote for Patti Logsdon.
Patti Logsdon Qualifies for Milwaukee County Ballot
The Campaign for Patti Logsdon for Milwaukee County Supervisor District #9 announced Monday, January 15, 2018, that she has submitted a qualifying number of nomination signatures from citizens across Milwaukee County’s 9th Supervisor District to place Ms. Logsdon’s name on the spring ballot.
“Our campaign was overwhelmed by the kind words of encouragement and support from voters in the Franklin, Oak Creek, and Hales Corners area who are looking for accountable representation on the Milwaukee County Board,” said Logsdon.
The life-long resident and fiscal conservative of Milwaukee County holds a Master’s in Accounting from Alverno College and is excited for the opportunity to help trim the unneeded spending from the County Budget and make sure every penny of the budget is put to the best use.
With only 2 candidates vying for the position, no primary election is needed. Patti Logsdon and her opponent will face off on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, for the position of Milwaukee County Supervisor 9th District, which includes all of Hales Corners and parts of Franklin and Oak Creek.
Patti Logsdon is widowed with 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
Great News – It’s official! Over the past few weeks, I reached my goal of well over 200 signatures to get on the Ballot!!! Today, the Milwaukee County Election Commision certified the nomination signatures collected.
I will be on the April 3rd ballot as a candidate from Milwaukee County Supervisor
District 9.
Loved meeting numerous neighbors and discussing moving Milwaukee County forward.
Thanks to all that are helping me on this journey….
